Here’s a point of interest: The Manic Street Preachers were formed in the same year as I was.
Arthur’s Day (Guinness Storehouse)
Posted in Manic Street Preachers, Snow Patrol, Westlife with tags 2010, arthurs, guinness, manic street preachers, photos, snow patrol, storehouse, westlife on October 18, 2010 by RMI’ve neglected you again havent I. I’m so sorry Blog, but in fairness, I’ve been mega frickin busy.
We launched an expo of Rock N Roll photography in The Grand Social which carries on until Nov 16th (go check it out). And I’m just about to launch my brand new studio premises. It’s HUGE! So expect to see a sharp rise in studio shoots popping up on the blog. It will be based here http://www.studio62photography.com but don’t fret, I may be a family portrait sell out now, but I’ll still rock the Ruthless moments.
Now, back to the music photos… Here’s a belated post of Arthur’s Day 2010 from the Guinness Storehouse. Westlife, Snow Patrol and (the real reason i was there) The Manic Street Preachers!
Manic Street Preachers (Olympia)
Posted in Bands I've shot!, Manic Street Preachers with tags 2009, Dublin, Hotpress, manic street preachers, msp, olympia on June 6, 2009 by RMright, well I’m a massive MSP fan, lets just make that clear from the get go. I don’t actually own any non Richey stuff though, chalk that down to personal taste or teenage angst or what have ya… but anyway. The gig was split in a quite a novel way. They played the new album in its entirety for the first hour… they then took a wee lil break (just long enough to pop to the bar) and then came back for a glorious second half that was filled full of classic hit and rarities! La Tristesse, Little Baby Nothing & Sorrow 16, c’mon folks, bula bus!
falling in love all over again.

HOTPRESS will have a full review of the show (written by a proper journo, not a snap happy photographer!) and printed pictures in the June 18th issue (so go buy it!!)!
PIX ALL UP!
