A Futurist Theatre

It’s a simple photographic technique I’m sure you will all be quick to point out… but I think it suits the band and their music… and this is one of my main aims of a shoot. Tailor each shoot to the tunes. Simple.

This long exposure movement stuff was also terribly popular during the futurism arty period…thank you BA Degree, i’m finally using you.

A Futurist Theatre are this amazing band that i stumbled across at a recent DIT Battle of bands (they won btw)…and they just blew me away. Such intelligent and epic music. (live pix)

DIT Battle of Bands 2009

Bravo to A Futurist Theatre for stealing the show… hands down they deserved it. Tis been ages since i’ve had to pick my jaw up off the ground after a gig.But a word of caution, their myspace tunes do not do them one bit of justice. Check em live.

Line up also included Falter Ego, who i’ll admit were also smashing, and the J Walkers. There was another band, but i missed em… apols.
