I’m not dead. My camera’s not broke. I just gave up the ghost for a while as I sold my corporate soul to my maker….(my cameras maker actually).

Full of absolute legends. Check out WIlliam, he had his whole body tattooed. Every single week for 6 years. Wow. I love doing tat portraits in the studio but it was especially fun to shoot on the fly at the convention!

Anywho, new venue, new sponsor and a very new and sober Ruth. Strange way to spend a Choice. 10 amazing bands played, not a single dud in the bunch. Photos in order of appearance on the night as follows: Tieranniesaur, We Cut Corners,  The Japanese Popstars, Cashier No 9 , Pugwash , Patrick Kelleher & His Cold Dead Hands , And So I Watch You From Afar , Jape , Lisa Hannigan , Bell X1 .

The act that I liked the most got the best snaps (in my opinion)… unintentional but true none the less.

Azealia Banks played to a packed out Whelan’s crowd tonight. Tiny, tiny girl with a great big mouth. Brilliant.
